Hello and a very Happy Christmas from all the teachers and administration staff in Centre of English Studies Dublin, Wimbledon, Worthing and Taipei!

2009 was a tough year for everyone but here in CES we continued to invest and grow!

CES was yet again nominated for the Language Travel Magazine award for the Star English Language School - Europe. With over 350 possible schools entered it was fantastic for CES to be nominated for our 3rd year in a row! It is a great sign that the teachers, Directors and staff are all going in the right direction.

our new teaching centre in taiwan

In February we opened a new IELTS exam preparation teaching centre in Taipei in Taiwan. To see the website of this new school please click here! The school is still small but we are hoping to grow this business over the next few years. We are very excited about this new development as the new visa ruling in Ireland means that Taiwanese students can come to Ireland to study for up to 6 months or 24 weeks with NO visa!

We were delighted to co-operate with our partners in Taiwan UKEAS to award a Full Tuition & Accommodation Scholarship to one lucky winner through the CAVES bookstores in Taiwan. The draw for the winning tickets was made in Taichung.

CES Dublin have just completed the renovation of our new Internet cafe in our centre on Dame Street.

The CES Christmas Party in Dublin will be held this Friday. After 2 very successful Christmas parties in Wimbledon & Worthing they will have their work cut out for them in Dublin!
